Job Description
The Project Engineer will coordinate, oversee, and manage medium-sized projects on brownfield sites in Co. Wicklow.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with client stakeholders and vendor contractors.
* Establish project objectives aligned with clients' goals and ensure timely completion.
* Execute projects according to clients' Quality and Management systems.
* Ensure technical and commercial delivery of projects.
* Develop project scope requirements and implement appropriate execution strategies.
* Establish project resource needs and lead/motivate the project team.
* Maintain compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.
* Develop and maintain project budgets.
* Manage project plans to achieve project goals.
* Provide performance updates and reports for variance identification and corrective action.
* Liaise with Senior management for regular project performance status.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management of capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning.
* Excellent Health & Safety record.
* Third-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, along with a good understanding/experience of project controls & governance throughout the full project lifecycle.
* Advanced qualification in Project Management (ideally).
