Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship
Pfizer's People Experience team is dedicated to supporting candidates and colleagues throughout their journey.
This role offers a 3-year apprenticeship program in a state-of-the-art Biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant, combining part-time learning and work placement leading to a Manufacturing Engineering Higher Cert (Level 7).
The program focuses on technical and academic content with an emphasis on manufacturing. This opportunity allows you to join a world-class facility dedicated to developing therapies that significantly improve patients' lives.
Responsibilities:
* Work in a diverse engineering/maintenance team.
* Assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and calibration of automated production equipment.
* Collaborate with Engineers on assigned projects involving maintenance and repair of equipment.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical systems for failures and breakdowns.
* Update maintenance records and systems accurately.
* Support the response to equipment issues and provide additional training in diagnostic tools and PLC programming software.
* Ensure compliance with Corporate & Government Regulatory requirements pertaining to facilities & processes.
* Actively support improvements to systems and lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) defect walks and CI programs.
* Maintain physical security and cleanliness of the Facility.
* Work safely and contribute to a proactive safety program.
