Development Manager
About the Role: As part of our client's expansion, they are seeking a Development Manager to lead the development, implementation, and support of technical solutions. This role focuses on Microsoft and complementary products, offering a chance to design enterprise-scale solutions and manage a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor a development team, focusing on Microsoft platforms.
2. Develop and maintain solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
3. Identify and recommend new products to enhance the solution portfolio.
4. Progress Agile and SDLC processes and best practices.
5. Provide pre-sales support and contribute to client meetings.
6. Maintain knowledge of client business models, processes, and compliance requirements.
7. Advise clients on Microsoft technologies and optimize their licensing positions.
8. Oversee the development, deployment, and integration of software solutions.
9. Collaborate with global partners to advance the client's offerings.
10. Contribute to all phases of software development, from specification to deployment.
11. Propose strategic solutions and recommend new systems and software.
12. Prepare budgets, performance reports, and resource plans.
13. Build and maintain relationships with clients, technology partners, and vendors.
Requirements:
1. 10+ years of experience in development management roles.
2. Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field.
3. Microsoft Certifications (Dynamics CRM, SharePoint) are a plus.
4. Experience with leadership, training, and evaluation of staff.
5. Relevant certifications (ITIL, PMI, CPM, MCSD, COE) are advantageous.
6. Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
7. Deep knowledge of the software development life cycle.
8. Experience with enterprise solutions, both on-premise and cloud-based.
9. Financial acumen and budget management skills.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary - €100-110K DOE
