Havas Media are delighted to be recruiting for a Digital Account Director .
This is a very exciting opportunity to work with one of the leading global agency networks.
Within this role, you will influence the planning vision for all digital channels ensuring client objectives and KPIs are aligned to form one holistic approach optimised across platforms.
You will work closely alongside channel specialists to ensure campaign implementation, analysis, optimisation, delivery and evaluation is executed to a high standard.
A key part of this role will involve supporting our growing number of e-commerce and retail clients, helping to deliver performance strategies that drive measurable business outcomes – from traffic and conversion to revenue and return on ad spend.
You'll help clients unlock growth across marketplaces, DTC platforms and retail media networks.
Working with the client service team, you will also have an opportunity to heavily influence strategy, tying together performance channels with the overarching brand activity.
There will be a heavy client-facing element to this role, as you'll be required to attend weekly calls/meetings and lead on larger monthly and quarterly meetings, with the support of your line manager.
As such, it's essential you feel comfortable with clients, have strong communication skills, as well as a proactive attitude and a real hunger for success.
Key Responsibilities Set digital performance strategy and investment by channel, with a particular focus on e-commerce goals and performance KPIs.
Work closely with the client service team to ensure full understanding of wider brand strategy and how performance and e-commerce activity align and contribute to this.
Develop and manage the holistic paid performance forecast/plan of monthly budgets in line with client objectives, including ROAS, CPA and revenue targets.
Work with specialist teams to ensure correct tagging is in place for campaign optimisation and reporting.
Oversee optimisation of campaigns across the performance team and ensure delivery of results against agreed KPIs.
Drive best practice; specifically, improving the quality of campaign delivery, innovation, and automation – particularly in fast-moving e-commerce environments.
Oversee reporting and campaign analysis, ensuring consistency in data and insights delivered, including insights that support client merchandising or product strategy.
Help to drive innovation and creative solutions, ensuring media firsts and beta use.
Oversee accurate and timely finance administration and budgeting.
Be the day-to-day contact for clients in relation to digital performance and e-commerce strategy, maintaining and growing strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Lead on client-facing presentations on strategy, campaign recommendations and results.
Contribute towards wider team initiatives where required, e.g., team training, award entries, attending industry events etc.
Experience Required: 4+ years' experience within a digital remit, ideally performance-related and within an agency environment.
Experience planning and executing e-commerce performance campaigns and delivering measurable results across a range of platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, Amazon, TikTok, retail media networks).
A strong understanding of digital commerce and the purchase funnel, with experience driving growth for DTC brands or online retailers.
Knowledge of how to balance brand and performance objectives across digital channels.
Knowledge/experience of search, social and programmatic media.
Knowledge/experience of SEO, CRO and Analytics.
Proven experience of working with enterprise-level clients and large budgets.
Good numeracy skills with strong knowledge/experience of MS Excel.
Passion for, and a wide understanding of, all aspects of digital media.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload.
Excellent communicator – written and verbal, with the ability to present confidently, interpret performance marketing and manage client expectations on targets and results.
Ability to work under pressure.
