Job Description
The successful candidate will develop the group logistics strategy, analysing current routes and import/export activities to drive efficiencies for deliveries from manufacturing facilities across the UK to the Republic of Ireland and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve delivery efficiency and safety
* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and CBAM requirements
* Manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions
Requirements:
* Proven knowledge of logistics processes and planning management responsibilities/tools (including route and load planning)
* Experience in logistics management with a track record of implementing strategies to drive operational excellence and reduce costs
* Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets
* In-depth understanding of health and safety, customs compliance, VAT impacts on total cost to serve, and audit requirements
* Previous experience with ERP systems and management experience with a proven record of developing people
