As a Content Writer, you will assist in the creation of content, being responsible for writing, editing, and approving copy, which will be used to increase our brand’s awareness and reach, enhance engagement across social media platforms, and drive organic growth and new customer acquisition through SEO.
You will have experience creating and editing written content, ensuring all content production aligns with our brand voice and guidelines, and following SEO best practices for all website & blog content.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is highly collaborative as you will work across the entire organization to help us implement content marketing strategies to help foster the company’s continued growth.

The successful candidate must be equal parts creative and analytical - excelling at writing & editing, research, data analysis, and storytelling. A love for content marketing, writing, and producing measurable results is essential for this role.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Write both short and long-form content to be used across various marketing channels
* Work with Social Media Manager to help produce content to be distributed across social media to increase engagement
* Alongside Content Marketing Manager, manage publication of content to be used for SEO to drive new customer acquisition, following SEO best practices to ensure content ranks for targeted keywords in search results
* Write, create and post all blog articles, following an editorial calendar
* Optimize existing written content for SEO to drive web traffic
* Tell compelling stories while using the Digistore24 brand voice and tone
* When needed, collaborate with other content writers/copywriters
* Help analyze reporting and use analytics to evaluate current efforts and make copy tweaks when needed
* Assist in the launch of new company features and promotions, as well as new brand launches, being the main point of contact for written content needed
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of copywriting experience
* Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt your writing style and tone of voice to various audiences
* Proven ability to communicate complex topics in ways that are relatable and understandable for readers
* Skilled researcher, taking the time to perform research and analyze data before planning or writing new content
* Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and take on many projects at once while meeting set time deadlines
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the entire organization with employees at all levels
* SEO experience, knowing how to get content pages to rank for targeted keywords in search results
* Experience working with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
* Prior knowledge of Affiliate Marketing and e-Commerce is an asset
