Plant/Utilities Engineer
An opportunity is now available for a Plant Engineer with 5 years of demonstrated experience in Good Manufacturing Practices industrial experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
The key areas of responsibility for the Engineering role include supporting capital projects, operations, and the engineering function within the designated production areas.
The successful Plant/Utilities Engineer will contribute to the completion of projects, manage their own time to meet agreed targets, and develop plans for short-term work activities on their own projects.
Responsibilities will include:
* Work with the area Engineering team leader to ensure safety and quality in all aspects of operations and engineering site-wide.
* Develop technical and operational standards and provide routine equipment technical support and troubleshooting for resolution of manufacturing issues.
* Develop and maintain productive links with process equipment & technology suppliers and vendors.
* Work with the area engineering team to establish robust processes and systems that ensure equipment uptime and maximize manufacturing output.
* Engage with teams when required to agree on the process for work prioritization.
* Lead and own weekly team meetings and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Support and optimize plant reliability while minimizing lifecycle costs.
* Provide technical expertise to operations and engineering within the area of responsibility.
* Lead RFT Method 1 investigations.
* Ensure compliance and support in relation to safety and quality.
* Support operational campaign startups.
