Job Purpose:
The Technical Officer plays a crucial role within our local grants area office in delivering technical aspects of applications for various funding schemes across the private housing sector.

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a professional, proactive, customer-oriented, and high-quality technical service is provided to our customers and stakeholders.
The post holder will process funding applications in compliance with policies and procedures, while also maintaining a suite of funding schemes aimed at improving housing standards, energy efficiency, and reducing fuel poverty.
Additionally, the role involves working closely with applicants to ensure that they have access to necessary support and resources to deliver their projects successfully.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must possess:
* A degree or equivalent level qualification in Building Studies or a relevant construction-related subject, along with 1 year of relevant experience; or
* A BTECH higher or equivalent level qualification in Building Studies or a relevant construction-related subject, accompanied by 2 years' relevant experience;
* OR demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning and at least 3 years' relevant experience.
