Role: PMO Support Analyst Our client is looking to hire a PMO Support Analyst on an initial contract of 12 months with potential to extend to 36 months. You will be responsible for delivery of the PMO Portfolio which consists of several large technical and business transformation programmes. Your Experience / Competencies / Skillsets A minimum of 3 years experience operating within a Project Management Office in a support capacity, ensuring that teams adhere to PMO protocolsincluding the Project Life Cycle and Stage Gate approval processes (preferred). A level 7 Degree qualification (or equivalent or higher) in Computers & IT, Engineering, Science or Business is a mandatory requirement. Proven track record in managing projectsincluding the preparation of project plans, resource allocation, cost tracking, maintenance of RAID logs, and reporting to key stakeholdersas well as performing other PMO-regulated project management tasks. Demonstrated ability to maintain project details within various systems and to aggregate data from multiple sources for comprehensive portfolio management reporting. Proficient in coordinating Microsoft Teams Meetings, including drafting agendas, facilitating discussions, capturing minutes, and updating action trackers. Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while displaying flexibility, curiosity, and a readiness to identify and implement improvements in existing systems and processes. Familiarity with portfolio and project management software is considered an advantage. Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, and requiring minimal repeated corrections. A robust grasp of project management methodologies, particularly Waterfall and Agile frameworks, is essential. Possession of a recognized project management qualification is preferable. Established expertise in financial tracking with the ability to examine, interpret, and report on discrepancies in financial data. Exceptional administrative abilities coupled with excellent organizational and planning skills, including the capacity to effectively prioritize tasks. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as MS Project and Visio. Experienced in organizing and managing Teams Meetings by setting agendas, guiding conversations, recording meeting minutes, and maintaining updated action lists. Highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to independently initiate projects or tasks and see them through to completion, acting as a proactive problem solver committed to positively and proactively resolving issues. Note: This role is predominantly remote role with 2 days a month being spent in office in Ballina for collaboration and team-building purposes.
