Knowledge Editor Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Knowledge Editor to join their team.
The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter.
This role will be fully onsite, based in Little Island, Cork.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €27.49 per hour based on an annualised salary of €50,202.
You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Role Overview: Effective knowledge sharing is essential for driving ICT Support functions.
The Knowledge Management Team aim to capture, collate & catalogue information, in order to provide an up-to-date knowledge base for the organisation.
In many ways, the role of the Knowledge Management Team is much like that of a librarian - gathering information provided by subject matter experts, categorising, indexing and making it accessible and searchable for users.
The primary role of KM is to connect to "knowledge nodes" both the knowledge providers and the knowledge seekers.
The overarching role of Knowledge Management is to: Capture Knowledge Improve Knowledge Access Enhance the Knowledge Environment Manage Knowledge as an Asset Manage the format and language of explicit knowledge Follow the Knowledge Management Processes and Procedures Other Duties and Responsibilities: Support the National Knowledge Manager in the design and development of Knowledge Management procedures, tools, templates, documents and reports Ensure that knowledge articles progress through the Knowledge Management process in a timely and prioritised manner Prepare statistics, KPI and trend reports for use in the Knowledge Management process.
Cooperation and engagement with local and national ICT teams Ensure compliance with procedures and processes Assist with updating, evolving and maturing procedures and related processes that relate to Knowledge management.
