Business Development Manager
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to secure new business opportunities via pre-booked appointments and their own referral network.

Job Purpose
The primary objective of this role is to sell our advisory and consulting service to SME business owners in the region.
Job Overview
We are seeking an empathic listener with strong commercial acumen who can build trusting relationships with SME business owners.
This is a field-based, target-focused role that requires a high level of energy and motivation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and new business logo acquisition and be local to the region.
Industry experience is not required, but full training is provided.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Deliver consultative in-person sales meetings with 4 SMEs daily.
* Use professional and informal networks to generate leads.
* Work with the Head of events to deliver monthly seminars to business owners.
* Develop alternative sources of prospects by building referral partnerships.
* Achieve quarterly sales targets.
* Maintain accurate records of your sales pipeline.
* Represent the brand in a positive manner.
Job Requirements
* A strong track record of working in B2B sales with a high volume of clients.
* Experience selling a service to SMEs and understanding their needs.
* Strong commercial acumen and client relationship-building skills.
* Knowledge of and local to the region with a proven track record in sales and new business logo acquisition.
* A highly energetic person with a drive to seek new business and motivated by sales and targets.
