Process Technician
CREGG is currently hiring a Process Technician to work onsite with a leading multinational Medical Device client in Cork, working on the latest automated manufacturing equipment.
This role offers a 3 day work week with 4 days off. Shifts are 3x12 hours per week, rotating every 4 weeks between front end and back end shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and Quality Control: Communicate concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager. Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
* Process Improvement: Assist Manufacturing Engineers in developing, troubleshooting, standardising and improving existing production methods and procedures. Investigate and implement new production methods and design methods, part sourcing and documentation.
* Troubleshooting and Fault Finding: Troubleshoot and resolve issues using systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting techniques.
* Electro-Mechanical Skills: Utilize strong electro-mechanical background with hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical instrumentation, pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, programmable controllers, motors, conveyors, vision systems and workshop machining.
* Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with Operators and as part of a Core Production team, demonstrating good interpersonal and communication skills.
