Corporate Information Security (CIS) is the core department and central driver for Information Security Governance in Allianz Technology. The division is tasked to continue evolving a strong security organization, establishing global security solutions and countermeasures and to oversee the effectiveness and guide the implementation of security controls. The CIS function at Allianz Technology helps to protect the organization's digital assets, maintain customer trust, and support business continuity. As part of Allianz Technology's information security center of competence in Dublin, he/she will oversee the effective implementation of Information Security requirements by effectively managing security risks within the organization.
Role Description: The role of an Information Security Risk Manager at Allianz Technology is pivotal in ensuring that the organization's information assets are adequately protected against potential threats and vulnerabilities. This role involves a combination of risk assessment, policy development, compliance monitoring and planning. The Risk Manager combines the independent risk oversight function with providing support to the Head of Corporate Information Security incl. their organization with risk, control and outsourcing related procedures of the business unit. Reporting: The Risk Manager has a functional reporting line to the Head of IS Governance.
Responsibilities:
1. Actively supports the CIS Function with the implementation of the Risk Policy Framework (such as Risk Policy, Outsourcing Policy, Third party risk management standard) and Information Security Risk Management rules and practices
2. Oversees and monitors compliance with the Risk Policy Framework across the central and decentral IS functions of Allianz Technology
3. Contributes to the improvement of Allianz Technology's risk culture
4. Reports of any material risk management related information to the AZ Technology CRO and/or respective central risk management team (high risk situations, exceptions and risk acceptances) and contributes to the Allianz Technology Risk Committee reporting
5. Coordinates the implementation and regular performance of the Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) Cycle and Third-Party Risks Management (TPRM) Cycle
6. Ensures clear allocation of Risk and Control ownerships including Business ownerships for outsourced functions or services
7. Coordinates risk assessments (including outsourcing risk assessments, Top Risk Assessments), supporting the business in control implementation, documentation and performance, development of mitigation plans and its follow up
8. Coordinates activities with other expert functions in particular Data Privacy, Risk, Protection & Resilience, Legal & Compliance
