Role Summary
The Quality Assurance Auditor reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, responsible for planning, auditing, and formulating quality control policies within Ashdale Care.
Key Responsibilities
Auditing
* Conduct thematic audits in allocated homes, ensuring compliance with organisational policy.
* Meet with staff members to discuss their understanding of policies and procedures.
* Review placements, gather feedback from young people, and provide written audit reports.
* Complete thematic self-audits, review action plans, and ensure core mandatory training is up-to-date.
* Share learnings via an organisation action plan and complete feedback meetings.
Annual Review of Compliance & Quality Improvement Plans
* Report non-compliance areas to the Quality Assurance Manager.
* Support completion of quality improvement plans and annual compliance reports.
Governance
* Provide input to weekly reports for the Senior Leadership Team.
Other Duties

Requirements
* A minimum qualification to Level 7 degree in Social Care or Social Work.
* Working knowledge of National Standards for Children's Residential Centres.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a children's residential environment or social work environment.
* Minimum of 1 year's experience in an auditing capacity.
* Excellent planning, organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage own time, and schedule while travelling.
