Kingspan Insulation are a leading manufacturer of high-performance rigid insulation within the construction industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join a global leading business and play a part in our manufacturing operation!
Key responsibilities of our Chargehand:
You will lead and manage all bonding resources when on shift and actively lead and develop the team to achieve overall objectives and targets. You will also be required to manage the bonding and container loading processes, liaising with relevant departments to ensure the smooth day to day operations. You will be required to carry out systematic trouble shooting and identify potential improvements and to establish and deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction, staff morale, quality and safety.
What we are looking for in our Chargehand:
You will have:
1. Accredited lift truck training
2. Previous experience working in a factory/ manufacturing process environment.
3. Able to follow instruction and production schedules
4. Flexible and willing to be trained in multiple areas whatever department and area this may be.
5. Be a good team player with a “Can do attitude”
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills
7. Able to act quickly when problems arise
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
8. A professional qualification within the supervisory or management field (ILM Level3 or equivalent)
9. A professional qualification within the health & safety field (IOSH managing safely or equivalent)
10. Full Driving license
11. Basic understanding of touch screen technology
12. Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel, SAP
13. Management experience
