Job Description The role of Laboratory Media Assistant / Technicians is to prepare media keeping in mind efficiency, quality and accuracy standards as required by the company Responsibilities: To ensure media stocks are maintained throughout the laboratory.
To ensure the quality of the day-to-day work coming out of media, meets company standards and for problem solving any quality issues with other members of the media and senior team.
Ensuring that all documentation is complete on time, accurately and legibly Responsible for keeping media area clean and tidy Become familiar with all relevant laboratory procedures i.e.
SOP's.
Accurately log data into the system in a timely manner.
Be flexible to work in any area of the business as is required.
Responsible for adhering to all company standards in the area of health and safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies.
Responsible for ensuring equipment is in good working condition and communicate, in a timely manner, to the relevant departments when an issue arises Qualifications What we are looking for: No Science qualification is required as full training will be given, but experience in a food environment would be an advantage.
