Standard Hours (inc shift pattern): Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
Role summary
As an Order Processor, you will accurately process and amend orders and build positive relationships with both internal and external customers. You’ll support the achievement of sales and volume targets, by maximising on orders, and correcting any queries and errors. Support the customer service representatives to ensure we provide excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities
1. Organisation of inbound email mailboxes and distribution of customer queries
2. Accurately process orders by direct order entry onto the Company‘s computer database and check and release orders.
3. Making outbound calls to customers to clarify any order queries where required. Seek written confirmation from customers if there are any amendments to the original order/quotation
4. Create and maintain professional working relationships with all internal stakeholders, in particular ensuring close communication with Field Sales on all account management matters, especially in the area of issuing and recording prices.
5. Ownership and accountability for their order book ensuring daily check are completed, including advising customers of their collection & process
6. Thorough personal performance contribution to individual and team results in line with the departmental KPI’s to help the company meet overall turnover and profitability

Desirable competencies, skills and experience
15. Previous experience in a Data Entry / Order Processing role
16. Experience of working within a busy, fast paced and demanding environment with the ability to work accurately within strict timescales
17. Experience of sales order processing
18. Knowledge of SAP & CRM systems
19. Knowledge of products related to the roofing industry would be advantageous
