Title: Team Lead Retailer Engagement Location: Dublin West Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid Working Sector: Operations / Retail / Compliance Our client is seeking a Team Lead Retailer Engagement to support the delivery of a significant environmental compliance scheme.
This role will manage a team of three field-based Membership Executives, coordinating retailer engagement efforts, operational compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.
The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic planning, and people management skills to ensure effective scheme participation and implementation.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Lead, coach, and support a team of 3 Membership Executives to meet KPIs and weekly objectives.
Coordinate weekly retailer store visit plans and performance tracking.
Analyse visit outcomes and prepare performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Support engagement with wholesalers, distributors, and independent retailers.
Manage and maintain the portal for retailer registration and updates.
Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and execute retailer engagement strategies to drive scheme compliance.
Assist in mapping and prioritising store visits, especially in high-risk areas.
Contribute to strategic planning for ongoing operational optimisation.
Stakeholder Engagement Act as a key liaison between Membership Executives, compliance teams, vendors, and internal departments.
Build positive relationships with retailers and stakeholders, offering support and guidance on scheme requirements.
Manage escalated issues with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
Operational Oversight & Compliance Oversee retailer registration and ensure compliance with scheme obligations.
Support enforcement efforts by identifying non-compliant locations and addressing issues proactively.
Work closely with compliance teams to develop data-informed action plans.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting Monitor team and retailer performance through store visit data and compliance metrics.
Deliver regular reports and insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Candidate Profile Essential Qualifications & Experience Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within operations, compliance, or retail.
Excellent organisational, planning, and time-management abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
Data-driven mindset with experience using digital tools for scheduling and reporting.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proven ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Desirable Experience Familiarity with environmental compliance schemes or similar initiatives.
Experience in FMCG, retail operations, or field-based team management.
Exposure to project management or process improvement frameworks.
