The Role:
We have a superb opportunity for a motivated and highly organised Electrical Tendering Engineer in a well-established team. This job will require travel to site.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
* Formulate competitive tenders/estimates/quotations.
* Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
* Prepare all aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation. (Technical ,Financial ,Project management)
* Manages external suppliers to support tender preparation such as supplier technical product compliance, lead time management and planning issues.
* Identify scope for design alternatives and value engineering, discussing with appropriate tendering team members.
* Collects and archives documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the development process.
* Identify potential risks in the tenders, quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels.
* Responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and commercial elements.
* Identifies potential vendors for equipment and materials required in the project and technically evaluates supplier offers to check match with specifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Previous experience in MV / HV organisation.
* A minimum of a Level 7 Degree in a relevant qualification, such as Electrical Engineering.
* Experience in project delivery and electrical design.
* Competent negotiator.
* Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* A proactive approach with problem solving skills and adaptability.
* Strong Microsoft Office package skills and knowledge.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
The Offer:
* Salary of €65,000 - €75,000
