Senior Tax Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual U.S. and international tax provisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Support U.S. and international tax matters, including preparing technical tax memorandums and calculations on topics such as valuation allowances, Pillar Two, thin capitalization, FATCA, and permanent reinvestment assertions.
* Conduct research on tax issues and ensure compliance with all applicable income tax laws, while staying updated on new and emerging tax legislation and technical developments.
* Prepare tax analyses and assist with special projects as required.
* Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and international income tax filings.
* Provide support for M&A activity at various stages of transactions.
* Aid in the implementation of software solutions to streamline and automate the tax function.
* Prepare global transfer pricing documentation and manage intercompany financing transactions, including identifying financing requirements within the group.
* Oversee tax matters for special-purpose entities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a large corporate tax environment, preferably in the biotech/pharma sector, Big 4, or a similar organization.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve complex tax issues.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
* Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to project demands.
