We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic sales manager to manage our Sales Executive team.
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for the performance of a team of Regional Sales Executives, as well as generating revenue from their own strategic pipeline of business. Managers will be expected to provide strategic direction at a nationwide level to guide Regional Executives, as well as coaching and developing them to achieve their individual target.
Responsibilities :
* Managing Regional Sales Executives to exceed weekly, monthly & quarterly new revenue targets.
* Meeting quarterly & annual revenue targets set against strategic pipeline of business.
* Formulating & implementing nationwide sales strategies in line with the commercial expectations of the company.
* Identify & monitor the development needs of Regional Sales Executives to ensure a professional, efficient & consistent sales process is being implemented nationwide.
* Develop and maintain a constant and planned pipeline of potential new business.
* Prepare monthly reporting & presentations on National Sales Activity.
* Be professional, punctual and presentable in all contexts when representing DPD Ireland.
* Day to day management of the Irish Sales Team (ROI & NI).
* Delivery of the new business sales targets.
* Supporting the team to deliver their individual targets.
* Identifying team and individual development needs.
* Oversight of salesforce utilisation and analysis.
* Monitoring and feedback of competitive activity.
* Identifying new business opportunities.
Requirements :
* At least 5 year’s sales & industry experience is essential.
* Experience in sales management preferred.
* Third level education is essential
* High level of communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in the application of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word & Powerpoint is essential.
* Confidence in taking on leadership responsibilities within a team.
* Motivated by a competitive target driven environment.
* Full, clean Irish driving licence and access to own car for daily field activity.
* A proven team leader with good experience selling and managing sales teams.
* Minimum five years experience selling and managing a sales team.
* Ideally experience within the logistics sector.
* High level of numeracy required.
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
* High level of IT competency - Excel, PowerPoint, Codex and Salesforce.
