About the opportunity Quantity taking off, framing of item description and cost estimates.Preparation of Rate analysis.Read & Understand clauses of contract.Checking & certifying contractor's bill, settlement of claims, cost control, cost monitoring & forecasting of cost.Perform discipline, project, ISO and administration tasks.Read AutoCAD and Model for taking measurements from same.Dealing with International codes & methods of measurements.Preparation of technical specification with guidance.Co-ordinate among other disciplines.Here's what you'll need Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a construction and/or engineering field.Experience in preparation of Bills of Quantities, Framing of specification, Framing of Contract Clauses & Conditions of Contract, Knowledge of MEP Services.Knowledge of software packages like Autocad, BIM360, Microsoft Excel, CostX and/or Bluebeam.Knowledge of methods of measurements (ARM, SMMIEC etc.
