AuxiliaGroup are expanding our HR department and we are actively seeking a HR & Compliance Executive to join our team.
This role is crucial for supporting our current retained book of clients with expert advice and managing complex HR projects, while enhancing our service delivery and meeting our client needs. Below is a brief overview of the current opening within our HR department:
1. Providing technical expertise and specialist advice on a broad range of HR and Employment issues including terms and conditions of employment, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, bullying and harassment, sickness absence and performance improvement.
2. Meeting clients to support employee / industrial relations.
3. Overseeing the effective provision of HR and Employment Law Supports to a portfolio of clients across a diverse range of sectors.
4. Providing proactive HR guidance and support and managing complex employee relations issues.
5. Maintaining documentation and preparing reports as required to ensure compliance and support the effective conclusion of employee relations issues.
6. In conjunction with or supporting HR Director, on a variety of human resources consulting work for key clients in line with pre-agreed Retained HR services.
7. Supporting HR Director carrying out workplace investigations.
8. Supporting and/or delivering key HR training programmes – Fundamentals of Employment Law; Effective Performance Management; Conducting Disciplinaries and Grievances.
9. Contributing as a team member to support your colleagues across all departments, Recruitment and Associate Network.
10. Keeping clients up to date with employment legislation and ensuring policies and procedures are updated to reflect not just compliance but best practice.
QUALIFICATIONS and OTHER
1. A primary degree, in human resource management or similar.
2. Ideally Post-graduate Diploma in Employment Law / Employment Law Diploma Law Society and / or MBA.
3. Active CIPD membership.
EXPERIENCE
1. At least 3-4 years relevant HR / Employment Law Experience within a busy HR/ Legal environment or HR consulting practice.
2. Exposure to a broad range of HR initiatives and employee / industrial relations issues.
3. Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR practices.
SKILLS
1. Excellent IT and presentation skills.
2. Proven record in delivering training workshops.
3. Excellent word processing and typing skills.
4. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
5. Full driving licence is essential.
