Role Summary You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a sales and solutions team, providing both operational oversight and strategic input to drive departmental success. You will support the development of sales strategy and processes related to the launch of new service lines. Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs. Lead and effectively develop an effective and high performance team structure to support all revenue sales and marketing efforts for the business. Ensure future skills needs are assessed and training or development implemented to meet these skills needs. Carry out 1:1 meetings and ensure proactive performance management processes for your team members Communicate company-wide priorities and help team members set and track goals that link up to these priorities. Help each team member solve challenges, identify priorities, and remove obstacles to their efficiency, effectiveness, and engagement to ensurethat all responsibilities are managed in an accurate, comprehensive, timely and controlled manner. Lead change management projects within the sales and solutions team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal processes and productivity. Collaborate effectively and build strong relationships across all divisions within the business. Provide insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights. Your knowledge, experience, and attributes: 10+ years experience in business development or sales in a high-growth, start-up or scale-up environment, preferably within the financial sectors. Bachelors degree in business, business administration, marketing, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management position with a proven record of achieving goals and motivating others to achieve goals under set targets, timelines, and budgets. Highly curious, motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a sometimes-ambiguous environment. Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive them to successful completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present to both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Understanding of how to position products against competitors. Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
