Our clients, two international production companies based in West and South Cork, seek to expand their teams with Health & Safety Managers for their respective facilities. These are full-time, permanent roles offering competitive salary and benefits packages.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement Health and Safety Management Systems to ISO 45001 standards.
* Ensure SEVESO and COMAH compliance, focusing on Major Accident Prevention and Chemical Management Programs.
* Lead the development and implementation of Emergency Preparedness and Response Programs.
* Manage contractor safety programs, including construction and maintenance operations.
* Foster relationships with regulatory agencies, managing inspections and incident reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a Higher Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a Health and Safety role within food, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
Essential Requirements:
* A Higher Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a Health and Safety role within food, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
* Strong knowledge of H&S systems, ISO 45001, and SEVESO/COMAH regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
The estimated salary for this position is around €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
