Senior Physiotherapist
We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our teams in Sandymount and Leopardstown.
About the Role
To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a psychology service to an Enable Ireland service and/or a special school (to be specified).
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assessment, diagnostics, and intervention for children with physical, sensory, and/or learning disabilities.
* Clinical and performance supervision.
* Ongoing service delivery to children aged 0 – 18 years.
Requirements
* Registered on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Three years full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
* Requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
Desirable Qualifications
* Minimum one year post-qualification experience of working with children with physical disability and their families in the public sector.
* Evidence of relevant CPD.
* Two years' experience working in a children's disability service.
* Experience of interdisciplinary team working.
* Experience of supervising students/therapy assistants.
