The key duties and responsibilities of this role include:
1. Responsible for the adequate cleaning of the factory - all high risk and low risk areas.
2. Organise all cleaning to ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly, and 6 monthly tasks are completed on time and to schedule.
3. Ensure no possibility of cross contamination when washing; no product or packaging to be in the vicinity.
4. Assist setting up machinery and equipment including slicing lines in high risk for production to commence work.
5. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed before production starts.
6. Ensure all waste is disposed of in correct containers/skips and relevant information recorded.
7. Ensure the relevant PPE is worn and used for all jobs.
8. Handle all equipment including blades of slicers with care.
9. Replenish supplies to all dispensers around the factory.
10. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored in appropriate areas and correctly labelled/identified.
11. Use cleaning materials appropriately, as per safety data sheet and SOP.
12. Other tasks assigned by manager.
13. Compliance with all internal SOPs, and Health & Safety regulations.
Hours of Work:
The Night Hygiene team comprises of two shifts: Green and Blue. Shift working times are 5.30 pm to 6.00 am four days per week over 7 days, including weekend and public holiday work. Overtime may also be available at a rate of time and a half. The rate of pay starts at €14.66, plus a 15% shift premium is paid on top for all hours worked each week.

Qualifications:
No qualifications are required for this role. Training is provided.
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role working within the FMCG environment would be advantageous.

* You will have 3 breaks in a day, and 1 of these will be paid (30 mins).
* Competitive Hourly rate with a 15% shift premium included.

Physical requirements:
The work in some areas can be physically demanding. It will be necessary to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects regularly, and perform repetitive tasks. Job rotation, manual handling techniques, and observing rest periods are of vast importance.
