This includes both conceptual and detailed engineering design, design safety management (Project Supervisor Design Stage), project programming and commercial management.
The Senior Professional Engineer Pre CA Civil Team role will lead in seeking, sourcing and developing, in line with predefined criteria, strategic and relevant sites across Ireland. The role will involve close liaison with This role will involve working closely with Senior Specialist Planning Co-Ordinator and a team of Solicitors, Town Planners and Property Valuers to produce detailed reports for submission to ESB stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
1. Drawdown off various frameworks to carry out site investigations at the pre development stage.
2. Identification of potential site options, production of site selection reports and feasibility studies.
3. Manage development of layout drawings and land registry maps of the highest quality.
4. Production of site negotiation reports.
5. Engagement with external stakeholders to obtain site valuations.
6. Stakeholder management, Landowner engagement and negotiation.
7. Develop risk register for sites to be communicated on to clients.
8. Brief ESB Legal, ESB Property, ESB Strategic Planning Management and EMP Project Development on site acquisition management process.

The successful candidate will have: -
9. Proven track record of successful negotiation and management of infrastructure site acquisitions and land/ lease agreements.
10. Strong knowledge and understanding of planning, property, and environmental requirements.
11. Strong stakeholder management skills.
12. Proven track record of delivery projects on time and to the highest professional standards
13. Full clean Irish/EU driving licence and access to a car.
14. Flexibility to travel nationwide
15. Demonstrable project management, documentation, and reporting skills

16. Experience in the use of ArcGIS
17. Interaction and utilisation of public spatial data sets

18. Level 8 Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
