We are recruiting a Utilities Lead for a leading global pharmaceutical client based in Cork. Due to significant investments and multiple projects on site, the company requires a Utilities Lead to manage utility systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* The Utilities Lead will oversee the management of assigned vendor packages within the mAbs / CUP buildings for NGB-02 facility, reporting to the mAbs Project Manager to support project timelines and deliverables.
* This role encompasses a comprehensive approach to managing vendor supplied packages and ancillary support systems from design through to troubleshooting.
* A deep understanding of Utility Systems (Clean / Grey Utilities) is essential, including mechanical utility systems, to identify opportunities for improvement and troubleshoot issues effectively.
* The Package Lead will collaborate with various teams, including A&E Firm Design Team, CQV, Automation, Construction, Procurement, to deliver packages aligned with the overall program.
* This role supports various utility systems, including Process Gases, Air, Water, Steam Distribution, and Process Waste Streams, requiring interaction with packaged equipment vendors and design firms to ensure Lilly standards are met.
* The Package Lead will coordinate and manage specific packages during vendor fabrication and serve as the primary point of contact when packages arrive on site.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Degree qualification in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
* 5-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with expertise in process design and management.
* Experience in Process Plant Technical Standards and design.
* Knowledge of CGMP's and other worldwide regulatory requirements.
* Ability to develop project strategies and high-level project plans.
* Partnership with third-party organisations and stakeholder management.
* Experience with Utility Systems (Clean/Grey Utilities), including Process Gases, Air, Water, Steam Distribution, and Process Waste Streams.
