Finance Project Controller - Galway (hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Key objective of the role:
Manage project financials for global program
The project controller works with program / project managers to ensure overall program stays within budget and gets delivered on time with the resources available. The project controller will help identify areas of improvement for project operations by closely monitoring program progress.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Performs project budgeting, project forecasting, financial planning and cost / actuals comparisons by analysis of invoices and intercompany charges. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles and consolidates financial status and provides insights to program management.

1. Review on a regular base program deadlines and budget with the program / project managers
2. Provide input and addresses questions from finance department
3. Coordinating statement of works, work orders, purchase orders, invoicing and payments with system integrators and vendors
4. Update corporate financial tools for forecasting (Daisy / Captrack / Digtracker)
5. Create project progress reports and make recommendations for ways to improve the project progress
6. Analyzing performance data to establish performance metrics around project financials
7. Anticipate potential problems / Develop risk mitigations
8. Represent the team as a key contract, liaising with other internal involved departments, manufacturing sites project managers and other stakeholders
9. Comparing ongoing project activities with the project management plan and project performance baseline
10. Ensures the project adheres to all Corporate and IT policies and standards.
11. Responsible for effectively managing the constraints of project management: Scope, Cost, Schedule.

Collaboration: work collaborative and productive with internal finance, information technology and local manufacturing sites to receive and provide input on program related matters.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience in large scale IT project / program management. Strong financial acumen, analytical and Microsoft excel experience are key to success for this role.
Requires a Bachelors or University Degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
