Appraise Fire Engineering (AFE) are seeking an experienced Associate Director/Associate Fire Engineer to lead projects in and around the Dublin area. Responsibilities
* You will be a project manager and technical delivery expert on a variety of engineering projects, providing detailed technical input with respect to fire engineering elements.
* You will be proficient in understanding and implementing BCAR and design guidance documents such as TGDB and BS9999.
* You will undertake site inspections across a range of projects and understand systems that are required to perform in fire conditions.
* You will lead and build a team with support from a wider team with significant experience.
* You will represent AFE at internal and external meetings including leading approvals negotiations and be a competent communicator able to prepare, oversee and review project outputs.
* You will contribute to business development and tendering activities, and build long term relationships with clients.
This position will be well suited to an established consultant looking to take the next step, working autonomously on medium/large complex projects.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in Fire Engineering is required for this role, degree in Fire Engineering or related field.
* Chartered Fire Engineer or working toward it.
* Full Member of Institution of Fire Engineers or Engineers Ireland.
