It is definitely worth considering this opportunity.Your new roleIdeally looking for a newly Qualified Accountant, preferably a Big 4 or Top 6 trained person with strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. We would like you to have an interest in learning on the job and being developed/mentored in areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis.You will be supporting the provision of high-quality advice, information, analysis and interpretation to the Business to underpin effective decision-making and meaningful performance management, particularly for capital, maintenance and innovative delivery areas.The role will involve monthly variance analysis, reporting, quarterly forecasting and working on the annual budget, as well as some regulatory reporting and preparing reports/analysis for the business, using Excel and Hyperion.Responsibilities:Liaise with colleagues across the business to obtain high-quality financial information, analysis and interpretation of financials in a timely manner.Develop strong relationships with Directors, Function heads, and business unit stakeholders by providing value-add financial insights and advice.Support Operations on the annual budget and mid-year forecast processes, monitoring performance of financial results against the same.Provide business partnering services, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and contribute to corporate plans.Ensure that costs are capitalised in line with IFRS, work with other functions to ensure all assets are capitalised on the correct licensed entity and in a timely manner.Assist in reviewing to ensure costs are captured in the correct projects.What you'll need to succeedYou must be a Qualified Accountant, ACA, Chartered, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ideally trained in the Big 4 or Top 6.Excel and confidence with ERP systems.A willingness and ambition to go on a learning curve to develop career-advancing skills.What you'll get in returnA salary of €60,000 together with benefits, parking, generous holidays, company days and more.
