T his is a part time pos ition 20 hours per week .
The hours are flexible and it is a - 9 month contract role with potential to go permanent.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Person to support our Finance Manager and administrative team.
This role is ideal for an organized individual with strong administrative and financial skills who can manage office operations effectively.
The position offers a dynamic work environment with the potential for contract extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance &
Accounting Support:
Assist the Finance Manager with daily financial tasks.
Prepare and process invoices, memos, and financial statements.
Ensure payments, amounts, and records are accurate.
Work with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals.
Record and file cash transactions.
Control credit and manage debt collection.
Process expense requests for approval.
Conduct bank reconciliations.
Prepare statutory accounts as required.
Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers.
Assist with compliance management and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
Administrative & Office Support:
Perform general office administration duties.
Arrange meetings and coordinate requirements for the administrative team.
Manage office supplies, including refreshments.
Maintain office equipment for smooth functionality.
Conduct research and compile data upon request.
Open, sort, and distribute mail and faxes.
Schedule travel arrangements for staff when required.
Create, edit, and update spreadsheets and documents.
Maintain and update procedural documentation.
Technology & Communication:
Monitor daily communications and respond to queries.
Demonstrate competency in Microsoft Teams, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
Strong understanding of social media platforms with the ability to manage them for business purposes.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in finance, administration, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
