You will design and lead the implementation of scalable, resilient test automation frameworks, while championing best practices across the mobile QA ecosystem.
You'll be responsible for designing sophisticated automated testing strategies for iOS and Android platforms, contributing to CI/CD integrations, and mentoring junior team members in modern quality engineering practices. You'll also lead initiatives to improve test infrastructure and coverage across mobile and backend systems.
This hybrid position requires approximately two days per month in our Cork office.
Key Responsibilities:

3. Implement and manage static code analysis using Sonarqube.
4. Utilize test management tools (e.g., Zephyr) to oversee test case design, execution cycles, and quality reporting with full transparency.
5. Drive cross-platform testing efforts using tools like BrowserStack to ensure compatibility across diverse mobile devices and operating systems.
6. Mentor and guide other QA and automation engineers, promoting high standards in test coverage, coding practices, and process improvement.
7. Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to understand requirements and proactively identify automation opportunities.
8. Lead root cause analysis of test failures, user-reported bugs, and system logs; document and present findings to drive engineering quality.
9. Act as a technical owner for specific automation modules or pipelines and drive improvements aligned with business goals.
10. Support the mocking of services and APIs to facilitate isolated and efficient testing scenarios.
11. Champion automation-first thinking and help embed a culture of quality across the mobile development lifecycle.
