Operations Manager Opportunity at Award-Winning Food Company in North West Cork
The site is BRC accredited and supplies leading retailers.
Responsibilities:
* Act as site manager with full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the plant.
* Manage a team of skilled operatives on a weekly basis.
* Manage and control the purchasing of packaging, ingredients etc to ensure sufficient stocks are controlled for the various SKUs produced in the plant.
* Work closely with the QA function to ensure food safety and BRC compliance.
Requirements:
* Third level experience is desirable in a Food Science related degree.
* Minimum of 5 years in a similar position in an industry with high volume product.
* Experience of both HACCP and BRC vital for the role.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
