The Organisation Animal Health Ireland is a not-for-profit, public-private partnership tasked with controlling livestock diseases not subject to international regulation.
The organisation aims to improve the profitability and sustainability of Irish farmers and the agri-food sector through its advice, developed by Technical Working Groups and delivered through cross-industry Implementation Groups.
Job Description:
An exciting vacancy has arisen for the role of IT Project Manager, which involves managing the IT requirements of the organisation.
This includes the technical design, development, and implementation of applications, meeting required specifications and standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* Skills in CRD database management at an advanced level
* Ability to use Microsoft Power Platform at an advanced level
* Experience writing technical procedures
* IC help desk experience
* Working with Excel in terms of data integration and warehousing
* Experience with external supplier management
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
* An aptitude and interest in remaining up-to-date on ICT trends and developments
* The ability to assimilate and interpret advice from specialists, technical or otherwise
The role requires the candidate to be highly organised, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
They should have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and with flexibility as part of a team.
Educational Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or IT project management is required.
