About the Role
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee their maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
* Manage and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* E nsure timely completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
* Implement and drive improvements in preventive maintenance programs.
* Monitor and improve equipment uptime/downtime performance.
* Lead and supervise maintenance teams, allocating tasks effectively.
* React promptly to breakdowns, ensuring swift resolution to minimize disruptions.
* Develop and maintain a critical spares list and introduce a stock management system.
* Support and drive LEAN and continuous improvement projects.
* Oversee the completion and accuracy of all maintenance records.
* Liaise with third-party contractors and assist with their on-site duties.
Requirements
* Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance Management role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of equipment.
* Proven experience in supervising and leading maintenance teams.
* Proficiency in using and managing preventive maintenance systems.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other basic software tools.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with budgeting and cost analysis for maintenance activities.
