We are currently seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for our clients nationwide, with a focus on serving our Kerry-based clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing both private and public projects, boasting at least 7 years of total experience. They will excel at maintaining ongoing communication with Clients to ensure their expectations are being met and have a proven track record of collaborating with local authorities and relevant State agencies.
This is a full-time, permanent position working directly with our Kerry-based client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Project design brief and design development: coordination of the design team and other consultants.
* Coordination and management of levies and development contributions.
* Manage compliance statements, commencement notices, Assigned and Ancillary certifier appointments.
* Oversee all aspects of Construction phase delivery of projects.
* Manage Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) matters, coordinating PSDP and PSCS roles and responsibilities.
* Detailed programming of works and production of project execution plans.
* Record progress and manage design changes.
* Produce schedules and trackers for subcontractors, materials, labor, plant, and preliminaries.
* Procure contractors, materials, labor, plant, and preliminaries.
* Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with building regulations.
* Manage utility provider appointments and designs.
* Manage BCAR documentation and certifications.
* Conduct Site Taking in Charge procedure and hand over to Local Authorities.
Requirements:
* At least 7 years of experience.
* Degree qualification in Project Management or Civil Engineering (or similar field).
* Experience in project management and delivery within a safety-critical environment.
* Fully qualified clean driving license.
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors.
