We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - Mental Health into a Private Hospital in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
* Continue to develop, coordinate, and manage operations and strategy while adhering to legal and national standards and best practices.
* Ensure the highest level of care and treatment is provided for nursing services while maintaining safety.
* Assure adherence to regulatory programs, including those related to risk management and health and safety.
* Possess the skills and expertise necessary to implement operational change initiatives in the nursing service as an engaged leader.
* Collaborate to develop goals and plan care with residents, families, carers, nurses, and other staff members.
* Participate in the healthcare and interdisciplinary team and cooperate with other team members.
* Verify that all policies, procedures, and practices align with the organization's service and strategic strategies.
Requirements:
* Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a Bord Altranais.
* At least one year of experience working in adult mental health services during your three years of post-registration nursing experience.
* Flexibility in covering weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.
* Experience providing acute mental health care in a medical or hospital setting.
* Palliative care clinical expertise is preferred.
* Necessary skills and knowledge, including a high level of managerial, administrative, and clinical competence.
* Expertise in workforce planning, budgeting, and personnel management.
* A thorough understanding of the leadership, governance, and requirements of the Mental Health Commission.
* Understanding of the principles and procedures of clinical governance and clinical experience working in a team of clinicians.
* Capacity to oversee, instruct, supervise, and engage in students' and registered nurses' practice education.
