Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller for this group of companies (15 entities and turnover north of €100 million), you will join an overall team of 3 people, acting as strong second in command to the FC. This is a newly created role due to the rapid growth of this business stream and your duties will be broad and varied across financial reporting, business partnering and FP&A. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
1. Prepare monthly management accounts for 15 entities including management reporting, performance reporting, variance analysis and balance sheet, P&L, intercompany etc.
2. Business partnering with the wider finance teams and departments (AP/AR/Legal/Commercial) with a particular focus on increasing efficiency around month-end processes
3. Assist the Financial Controller with statutory reporting and audits for 10 companies, ensuring IFRS & local GAAP compliance and liaising with auditors to resolve queries
4. Assist with tax compliance, reporting and declaration across a number of locations
5. Working closely with commercial teams on performance reporting
6. Assist with budgeting and forecasting
7. Ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis as required
What you'll need to succeed
8. You will ideally be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, although qualified by experience candidates may still be considered
9. You will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in industry, ideally in a global company with revenue of €100m+
10. All round hands on experience with meeting month end deadlines, FP&A and business partnering are required
11. Experience with Business Central would be beneficial
12. Spanish-speaking candidates would have an advantage, but this is not a requirement
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a salary of €65,000 - €75,000 plus a discretionary bonus (circa 10-15%), healthcare, life assurance, wellness allowance, 24 days annual leave, pension contribution of 5% and flexible hybrid working with 3 days in office and 2 days at home. Working hours are 9-5.30 with an early 5pm finish on a Friday.
