This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing home care company, and we are currently hiring for a full-time Care Coordinator who will be based in our Blanchardstown office in North Dublin.

Applicants should ideally have 2 or more years of experience in the care sector, and experience with rostering is a big plus.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Ongoing maintenance of clients' daily and weekly carer visits
* Identifying suitable and available carers for new clients
* Meeting carers and working to create regular and sustainable client visits for them
* Scheduling of daily rotas and forward planning including managing holiday and sick leave
* Using our specialist rostering software to ensure effective utilization of carers' time
* Communicating regularly with clients and managing their expectations
* Live monitoring and updating of the carer app
* Dealing with ongoing variations or changes to clients' scheduling requirements
* Dealing with ongoing variations or changes to carers' availability to work
* Communicating effectively on all routine and emergency situations in a calm, reassuring, and decisive manner
* Participating in bi-weekly team meetings
* Working closely with care managers and quality managers to understand the requirements of clients and carers for effective matching
* Providing support to other team members and other aspects of business operations as needed
* Participating in the backup on-call rota after an initial settling-in period (approx. one weekday evening per week for 3 months on and 3 months off). This is a backup to support the on-call operator only if needed.
