Overview PM Group is planning to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to support our growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects in Ireland.
The Health and Safety Manager will report to the Head of Construction Ireland and be responsible for supporting projects in preconstruction, construction, and commissioning stages, as well as overseeing the implementation of PM Group's safety management system in Ireland.

Responsibilities
1. Develop, promote, and maintain a strong, proactive health & safety culture across projects and sites.
3. Develop health & safety strategies, programmes, and plans in partnership with Group Construction Health and Safety.
4. Coordinate and manage construction health and safety personnel in Ireland.
The Health and Safety Manager will ensure compliance with local and national Health and Safety legislation, support Construction Services in executing health and safety related statutory duties, communicate industry best practices, and establish a process of active health and safety monitoring through audits and inspections of active sites.
They will also monitor and report on health and safety performance and challenges using predefined indicators, support incident investigations, influence employee work practices, coordinate safety training, and maintain compliance with the company's ISO45001 accredited safety management system in Ireland.
Qualifications
* A primary degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent, along with a recognised Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Chartered member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent qualification.
* An advanced knowledge of construction health and safety principles, proven technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines, with at least 10 years of experience in a related role.
* Experience in developing and implementing world-class health and safety management systems in a construction projects environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
