Operations Manager Role
The not-for-profit organisation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, and guest services.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, operational policies, and financial guidelines.
* Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and control budgets, expenses, and resources.
* Volunteer Coordination: Work alongside volunteers, delegating tasks and providing training.
* Facilities Maintenance: Oversee repairs, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
* Quality & Safety Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to uphold high standards in facility safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
* Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional hospitality by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
* Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, community members, and stakeholders.
* Revenue & Business Growth: Identify opportunities to expand services and assist in marketing efforts.
* Project & Event Management: Plan, organise, and execute facility improvements, events, and activities.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated expertise in facilities management, hospitality, and customer service.
* Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using software applications for operational management and financial analysis.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
* Previous experience working with and/or managing volunteers.
