Our client is a leading Irish Contractor who undertakes projects throughout Ireland in large scale construction. They have successfully completed projects across a range of sectors including Civil, Residential, Data Centres, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical.
They are seeking experienced Site Engineers to work on projects in the Cork Area. You will be overseeing and ensuring high level quality work that complies with the regulations and the general and specific specifications of the project. You will work closely with the site personnel to deliver the project to the highest possible standard.
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Project Manager, responsible for planning, coordination, and supervision of all engineering aspects throughout the project.
2. Setting-out from engineers’ drawings, site surveys, and as-built drawings.
3. Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure, etc.
4. Working with subcontractors/general workforce on site.
5. Planning works efficiently to ensure programme targets are achieved.
6. Liaising with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate.
7. Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
8. Ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
9. Ordering and control of materials on site.
10. Maintaining the site records as required.
Requirements:
1. Completed a third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
2. Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
3. Self-motivated to deliver on safety, quality & programme.
4. Strong IT Skills.
5. Ability to work as part of a team.
6. Full driving license.
Package: €40K-€65K negotiable salary packages based on qualifications and industry experience.
