Job Description:
We are looking for full-time Bar staff to join our vibrant team at The Gleneagle Hotel & Gleneagle INEC Arena.
You'll get to work in the Gleneagle INEC Arena and other venues and see your favourite artists up close!
You will be working with a professional team who are focused on delivering excellent service to our guests. Previous experience in Bar & Food service is preferred, but you will be paired up with a trainer who will train you to our standards.

The main duties of the bar staff will include:
1. Serving beverages to guests in a variety of bars
2. Complying with all cash handling and stock security policies
3. Greeting all of our guests in a warm manner
4. Familiarising yourself with the food and drink products, particularly daily specials and local beverages, so you can assist your guests in their choices
5. Anticipating the needs of the guest
6. Using your knowledge to take accurate food orders and working with the kitchen team to serve meals in a timely manner
7. Participating as part of the team and taking pride in your work environment, ensuring that the bar is kept well stocked and to a very high standard of cleanliness
8. Being aware of the beautiful locality in which we live and work and telling our guests about your favourite aspects
Experience / Key skills:
1. Previous experience in a bar is essential, and experience in a food service environment is an advantage.
2. An outgoing personality and a great communicator who loves interacting with our guests and offering them the welcome that we are renowned for
3. A team player who takes pleasure in achieving goals as part of our wider team
