Financial Reporting Manager Opportunity
This is a unique chance for a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team with diverse tasks and responsibilities, collaborating with various business partners including finance, accounting, senior management, business change, IT, actuarial, and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a reporting team responsible for producing FRS 102/103 NIAC Financial Statements for the company structure, including subsidiaries.
* Coordinate BOI Group reporting process for IFRS 17 & IFRS 9 accounting and disclosure notes.
* Manage Balance Sheet and P&L related Solvency II submissions to the Central Bank.
* Contribute significantly to driving and implementing change across the finance department as a senior member of the Wealth & Insurance finance function.
* Participate in reviewing and signing off disclosure notes, financial statements, and CBI submissions.
Requirements:
* Experience working within financial reporting and control functions.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and modelling skills.
* Proven track record in delivery with demonstrated ability in leading multiple tasks.
* Knowledge of accounting processes and accounting systems.
* Ability to learn new systems to support business needs.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* IFRS 17 knowledge.
Essential Qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years PQE.
* Experience working on regulatory, IFRS, and FRS reporting.
