Job Summary
This is a senior management role within IT Applications, responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and development of new functionality for Regeneron's IOPS IT Applications. The successful candidate will manage a team responsible for the application portfolio and associated support staff.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of FTEs and contractors to meet end-user requirements
* Maintain the accuracy of system documentation, including user requirement specifications, detail design specification, configuration specifications, test plans, and summary reports
* Work with the validation department to ensure that Oracle applications are implemented in accordance with regulatory requirements and IOPS SOPs
* Prioritize change control requests, releases, and enhancements and ensure their timely completion
* Develop, implement, and drive operational rigor and discipline using metrics and other operational controls as needed
* Present status of system operations and project status to executive stakeholders and ensure alignment of resources to key priorities
* Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
* Contribute to strategic vision and direction of the IOPS IT Applications and help manage the delivery of the strategic objectives, with a focus on Oracle systems
* Manage global applications support staff
* Mentor, coach, and develop staff
* Ensure staff compliance with regulatory, corporate, and IOPS policies and procedures
* Work with staff in the development of annual goals
* Perform monthly staff performance reviews and develop annual performance evaluation of staff
Requirements:
* Demonstrate knowledge and experience of using Oracle
* Possess logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Have excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
* Demonstrate an ability to work manage and lead teams
* Have strong Project management skills and can work in a GMP/GXP environment
* Hold a BS/BA in Information Technology or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 3+ years of managing systems
