Senior Occupational Therapist Role

Key Responsibilities:
* Organise individual and group caseloads, including assessments, interventions, and diagnosis for children (0-18 years) with disabilities such as physical, sensory, and learning disabilities, developmental delays, and autism.
* Foresee potential challenges or competing priorities and take appropriate action to maintain service standards.
* Foster a sense of accountability for value for money within the team.
* Monitor, record, and report performance outcomes and service delivery statistics to meet targets.
* Show innovation in managing resources to sustain and enhance service quality.
* Provide line management and clinical supervision to basic grade occupational therapists, volunteers, and students as required.
Essential Requirements:
* Be registered, or eligible for registration, as an Occupational Therapist with CORU.
* Have at least 3 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) post-qualification clinical experience.
* Hold full CORU Registration.
* Experience working with children with disabilities, including physical, sensory, intellectual, and autism spectrum disorder.
* Relevant postgraduate training related to child disability services.
* Specific experience in assessing and supporting children with autism and other disabilities.
* Experience in working with children with life-limiting conditions.
* Previous experience in a Senior Occupational Therapy role.
* Familiarity with assessments under the AON process.
