Post Summary: We are seeking an initiative-taking and well-organised individual to join our team on an exciting prostate cancer research project funded by Stream 2 of the internal research boost programme. This project will enhance ongoing research in the field which is advancing our understanding of the role of obesity in aggressive prostate cancer risk, and specifically peri-prostatic adipose tissue. The findings of this project will contribute to our understanding of peri-prostatic adipose tissue and prostate cancer, guiding future research to inform prevention and treatment advances.
Post Status: Specific Purpose Contract
Hours of Post: Part-Time (0.5 FTE), 20 hours per week
Salary: Appointment will be made on the IUA Research Assistant scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy [€32, 962 pro-rata] appointment will be made no higher than point 1.
