CPL are partnering with one of the leading suppliers, installers, and after sales maintenance providers in the industrial compressor sector.
With a vast portfolio of clients nationwide, the company is continuing to grow their Compressor Sales and Service business and are now looking to recruit 2 Field Service Engineers for Cork and Dublin.
Please note that to be considered for these opportunities, you must hold a full clean driving license and be authorized to work in Ireland in a full-time role.
With a superb reputation for reliability, quality and customer service, they are the official distributor in Ireland for a market leading range of industrial compressors.
Their clients include many of the large-scale manufacturing sites nationwide across Pharma, Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Medical Device Production, etc.
The team of high performing engineers all work remotely and are based from home where your calls and client service diary is managed by the field service coordinator.
All the engineers are paid “door to door” and they are part of a team of extremely skilled engineers who have the autonomy to run their own client service portfolio with the full support and backing from the Area Service Managers.
In this role you will be working Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 4 pm. You will also be required to participate in the on-call rota.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. You will carry out scheduled or unscheduled maintenance work on installations.
2. You will provide a complete level of service to your customers on-site including commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and validating all Equipment and Applications.
3. You will be reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will diagnose and implement all reactive maintenance work on both client’s installations and other user’s installations.
4. You must ensure that customers are satisfied with the product and service provided.
5. You will preserve the service operation with the goal of good performance.
6. You will need to maximize availability and uptime by effecting the first-time fix wherever possible.
7. You will attend training courses when required and acquire a good working knowledge of the Company's Equipment and Applications.
8. You will review technical documentation and write technical reports accurately.

1. This role is a field service role that requires the Field Service Engineer to work unsupervised on customer sites primarily in Cork, Dublin, and the surrounding areas.
2. The Field Service Engineer must demonstrate a good understanding and appreciation for the requirements for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that work is always completed in a professional and competent manner.
3. The Field Service Engineer takes Ownership, Accountability and Responsibility for the role and you will be the face of the company, and this gives you the opportunity to build excellent relationships with your customers and to further develop the brand and grow the business.
4. The Field Service Engineer takes an active interest in the success of the Company and is a team player with a friendly and outgoing disposition.
5. The Field Service Engineer is punctual, motivated, and an organized self-starter who is enthusiastic and conscientious about completing work on time and to a high standard.
6. The Field Service Engineer demonstrates a positive approach to work and can work well unsupervised on their own initiative and as part of a team.
7. Previous experience in an industrial electrical or mechanical position - Mechanical or electrical qualification.
